It hardly seems a year…but Open Studios North Fife 2013 comes round again soon. Saturday 4th till Monday 6th May. Check out the link for more details. I will also be open on the evening of Friday 3rd for a preview, 6.30pm till 9pm. Drop in for a glass or cup of something and cake too!

Meeting lots of people who are interested in craft and want to talk about how it’s made was what made my first ‘Open Studios North Fife’ as a maker last month such an enjoyable experience.
This month I am travelling further afield to take part in the annual ‘New Designers’ Exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London. ‘One Year On’ is a show within a show, featuring a panel-selected group who have set up in business within the previous year. I feel honoured to have been chosen to take part, and will be exhibiting in Part 1 which runs from 27th– 30th June.
Jewellery is a major element of this show, but it also features many types of decorative items including ceramics, glass, wood and textiles. I am looking forward to the experience and meeting up with this group of talented individuals.
